I love Explode the Code. It's a phonics type series. I don't like Saxon Math. I know this comment could stir some controversy since it's sooo well liked and popular, but I found it degrading or belittling. It is standard seems to be a bit behind. I felt like it was mocking my daughters intelligence. She's in first grade and it seemed like preschool. Kindergarten was a joke...There has got to be a better way...I will find it.
If anyone knows of a hands on math curriculum let me know.
